Rocky Peak Trail
Rocky Peak Trail is a one way, 4.6 mile trail which has heavy traffic and backtracks its way to the trailhead. It is located near Simi Valley, and features beautiful wildflowers and has been reviewed by its visitors to be of moderate difficulty. It is open year round and offers a variety of activities. Dogs are allowed to use this trail but are required to have a leash. Max elevation is 961 feet.
Hummingbird trail is a one-way, 3.7 mile trail which backtracks to its trailhead. It is located near Simi Valley and has been rated to be difficult. The trail is best used from October until May and is primarily for hiking, horses, trail hiking, and mountain biking. Dogs are also allowed as long as they are on a leash. Top elevation is 1,069 feet.
The Chumash Trail is a 5.1 mile trail with light traffic, is one way and backtracks to it’s trailhead. It is located near Simi Valley, features gorgeous wildflowers and is reviewed as moderate in difficultly. It is open year round and offers a variety of activities. Dogs must be kept on their leash to use this trail. Peak elevation is 1,131 feet.
Tapo Canyon Trail
The Tape Canyon Trail is a looped trail, 4.3 miles and is moderate in traffic. It is located in Simi Valley, features a waterfall and is reviewed to be moderate in difficulty. It is accessible year-round and has a number of activity options. Dogs are allowed on the trail as long as they are kept on the leash. Maximum elevation is 698 feet.
Long Canyon Loop
The Long Canyon Loop is 2.8 miles in length and loops back to it’s trailhead. It is located in Simi Valley, features beautiful wildflowers and is good for all levels of hiking. The trail is mainly used for hiking and mountain biking and is accessible year-round. Dogs can use the trail as long as they are kept on their leash. Maximum elevation is 554 feet.
