Who is the Simi Valley Youth Soccer League?
The SVYSL was founded in 1982, with the dream of providing an environment where kids could learn play soccer and fellowship with their community members. Since it’s humble beginnings, the faculty have always emphasized putting the kids first. Their first league president was Max Mitchell, the current being Kelly Rodgers, and all in-between have dedicated to their motto and mission to be “Dedicated to Youth Soccer.” They are committed to the development of core values in the youth such as sportsmanship, leadership, and maintaining a positive attitude through the worldwide sport of soccer.
The proud members of this league believe that it is never too late to start. The players range from 4 to 17 years of age and they are aways looking for more families and members to get involved. The competitive opportunities range from those solely looking for recreational play, to those athletes who wish to compete at a higher level. Players of any caliber will find the league fun, challenging, rewarding, and above all, a great place to be amongst their community and family.
Fueled with the efforts of the generous community, The Simi Valley Youth Soccer League continues to thrive because of their tireless efforts and support.
